Wales Should Be Told Where to Go, Isn’t it?

It seems that Wales want Danny Gabbidon and James Collins to play in their Euro 2008 qualifier next week. West Ham should tell them where to go. Neither has played for the Hammers for some weeks and the last thing we need is for them to get injured again. Neither can be match fit.

We’re potentially crocked if we do or miserable sods if we don’t.
It’s not as if we deserve to – or have much of a chance staying up though, eh?
What do the boyos themselves wish for?

  2. Ian the Hammer says:

Let them play, we’re down so it doesnt matter to us.

  3. Gordon McBroon says:

Unusually poor grammar for you in the headline, Iain.

And after all the money we’ve spent on Education, Education, Education as well…

Hey gordon….. do you think maybe, possibly Iain was having a little dig at the welsh???????????????????????

I guess it is up to West Ham to decide if they are fit to play. I’ve always hated the way Premiership players (particularly Liverpool players) have cried off playing for their country because of a stubbed toe – so if they are fit they should play.

  6. Dan says:

Please Iain, don’t do this to us. Do you realise how few players we have of Gab’s quality in Wales? Share the wealth like.

  7. ny hammer says:

yet another example of why we re going down. we face relegation ,yet gabbidon is concerned about playing for wales. nothing like putting yourself first ,and your club second. show me a west ham player who gives a fuck about west ham united at the minute, other than mark noble or zamora.

  8. ronny67 says:

I think West Ham should stop them from playing for Wales!

spot on david king- major omission on my part. i probably left him out because i m already thinking of next season,i.e. unfortunately he won t be with us.. but yes,it s indisputable that there is no player at the club this term who has shown one iota of the desire Tevez has.

  10. Keith R says:

Being objective …each of us is born in a country/territory or national registered ship/aircraft which is rudimentary to our identity after our gender, name and health status. Unless one was born on a penalty spot or in a shrine of ANY team colour then I suggest that country allegiance ought to be respected. National origin is immovable whereas one’s club changes throughout a career.
Meanwhile, who was the bright spark that sought a team defence solution from a single basket?

  11. Gordon McBroon says:

alanalandevonshire – Nah, if Iain was going to have a go at the Welsh, he might use a phrase that they actually use…
