From Stamford Bridge to Upton Park…

You all know the next line… And if you don’t, why are you here?! We need a result tonight otherwise we are dead in the water. The crowd will play an important part. We cannot afford to concede an early goal. Reo Coker and Noble will the be the key lynchpins and will need to hold their own in midfield.

We have got three big wins out of Arsenal and Man U this season. A result tonight would be bigger than all of them. We know we do well against big teams. At Stamford Bridge earlier this season we didn’t get the draw we deserved. Let’s make up for it tonight.

C’mon you Irons!

Bad luck chaps ! At least ticket prices [and salaries] are a more sensible level in the Championship..

for the little teams in the championship playing us will be like their ‘cup final’ plus with our perpetual playing shit record against smaller sides we won’t get out at the first attempt.

The Championship is hard, very hard. Don’t imagine for one second that it’s your God-given right to return to the Premiership – it isn’t and if you do you won’t.
It’s a long ,hard unremitting 46 game slog.
The players who take you down won’t get you back up again – with very few exceptions – therefore brace yourselves for wholesale changes.
Keep faith with your manager – he’s tried and tested over many years, even if you don’t agree with everything he’s done over recent months.
It’s not the end of the world – there are some half decent sides in the Championship with half decent stadia, but then again there are others with neither.
You have the benefit of huge parachute payments which give you a head start – don’t waste them.
    Stick by your club!

Shame about the result, but we had our chances.I thought the crowd were magnificent in getting behind the lads, even when we were 4-1 down.
The Championship won’t be too bad. Been there, done that and we WILL be back.

Well, if you are going to attack our team coach and boo Lampard throughout the game I certainly won’t miss you.

You are “dead in the water” and I claim my £5.

    Dear Nobby

Frank Lampard is a disgrace and has openly stated in the press that he “hates” WHU. He deserves everything he gets.

WH fans will always welcome back players that treated the club with respect in their time with us. Lampard was not one of those.

The facts are that before Redknapp & Lampard Snr were sacked for “allegedly” taking more money out of the club than the greedy Chairman himself, the deal was already done at xmas to sell Frank jnr to Chelsea. All the rubbish he spouted on leaving, regarding the way his “family” had been treated by the club was utter rubbish.

As a player for WH he was a non-tryer who was overweight & lazy. He could often be found in the local Essex hotspots the night before games smoking and drinking until the early hours of the morning. The nepotism was obvious as no matter how ineffective he was in a game he would never get substituted.

The instructions to the team always centered around Frank receiving the ball outside the box to promote this great goalscoring midfielder. Redknapp and Lampard Senior were basically putting him in the shop window for the future.

As for your teams coach being attacked, you have got this completely wrong. It was just a case of the boys at the Village Winebar trying to throw Frank a few bottles of Becks before the game, just like the old times………….

    Dear Alex,

Thanks for the history lesson. Enjoy the trip to Barnsley.

  9. Alex says:

    Dear Nobby

This may or may not be possible depending on their own survival of course. It seems you are making more rash comments without really thinking it through again or looking at all the possible alternatives.

  10. nobby says:

Blimey the jellied eel munchers are touchy today.
