And Straight In At Number Four…

According to those nice folks at Wikio, this is the fourth most popular football blog in Britain (and 10th most popular sports blog). In fact, West Ham blogs take up two of the top ten. Interesting that neither Chelsea or Manchester United have blogs which make the top ten. Perhaps it’s because their supporters have trouble with the UK alphabet. Joke.

1. Arseblog
2. Gunnerblog
3. SoccerLens
4. West Ham Till I Die
5. West Ham Fans
6. Goodplaya
7. Harry Hotspur
8. “Have you ever been to Liverpool?”
9. East Lower
10. AVFC Blog

So I suppose I must be doing something right, as not only do I have the number 4 footie blog, I also have the number 1 political blog!

Hi Ian, if the club is for sale, how many supporters would we require to buy the club ourselves, and how much would we need to contribute?

  9. Goatygav says:

Do they have any stats on which is the fastest growing blog?

  10. Goatygav says:

Many congrats on this Iain. It’s the only one I contribute to as, I think I’ve said before, you tend to attract the more well balanced, intelligent and articulate commenters. We don’t all agree on issues but it’d be boring if we did. Long may it continue.

  11. martin keech says:

In answer to SwedeHammer, as I live in France, I am intrigued by the geographical base and I notice that we seem to get responses from all corners of the earth – that is the power of the Internet and of course the Mighty Hammers. Just look at the blog roll on the right hand side

  17. Goatygav says:

I think Iain did do a geographical survey a little while ago. Might be an idea to see if the landscape has changed.

  18. Eric says:

    Defoe broke his foot?

  19. devo says:

If Defoe has broken his foot does that mean more unsettling articles about HARRY THE TWITCH contacting other teams players about a possible transfer

  20. james says:

Well done Iain. This is the only blog I contribute to – funny, sensible and great company!!! Please let us know if you hear anything about the Defoe business. I loathe the man but would never wish somebody out of work in that way. Off to The Emirates tomorrow and with the knowledge that whatever the outcome our boys will give it their all!

Iain, with all due respect, you should know what they say about statistics…especially as the political beast you are!
Yours is in my top ten Hammers’ sites (number eight or nine of my faves, I’d reckon), but I really am West Ham ’til I die, so it would be, wouldn’t it?
