Your blog is the best šŸ˜‰ so why not?
Keep up the good work Iain!!!

  2. Kim says:

Hello Ms Winslet – I have duly voted! Good luck.

  3. Roshi says:

    Vote cast!
I really enjoy your blog Iain, the problem is I keep dropping in, coffee time (of which I drink far to much) when I’m talking to a particularly boring client, any time the phones not ringing in fact it’s become a bleeding addiction…..where can I get a cure. Perhaps I should go for rehab in my favourite seat in the West Stand.
    Keep up the good work.

  4. theebayexpert says:

… I think we can all expect a namecheck in the acceptance (gasp, sob ‘Oh, what’s his name?’) speech…

  5. theebayexpert says:

ooh, crikey, that last post was graybo in another guise… sorry

  6. Roshi says:

Looking forward to radio 5 interview, I cannot get my head round twitter, so you better explain it in a way that a thicko like me can understand!

  7. Colm says:

My vote is in there now too Iain.Keep up the good blogging!!!!

  8. redkipper says:

I’ll expect the usual Lords fee (in Wonkey Eye envelope please).

  9. Goatygav says:

All Done Iain – best of luck mate.

  10. the headmaster says:

    All done. No contest.

  11. alanalandevonshire says:

Off topic but I just read that Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips has been charged with violent conduct by the F.A, yet the premier league have not, and will not, charge Chelsea’s Bosingwa for his shameful attack on Yossi Benayoun on Sunday. Makes you think huh. One a reaction and the other completely unprovoked. Respect my arse.

  12. alanalandevonshire says:

Sorry that would be the F.A. not charging him.

  13. colin say's says:

l’m on here 3 or 4 times aday love it. All done ,and well done !!!!! Iain ……………….

  14. E1 says:

    ALL DONE Good Luck mate

  15. HammersWest says:

I’m expecting a tearful Attenborough style acceptance speech šŸ™‚

  16. ChrisG says:

Voted also, and I second all the thanks for your hard work on this site Iain, but as both Roshi and Colin say above, I keep dropping into your 2 blogg sites several times a day, not good for work! but…….I have the same problem as Roshi regarding Twitter, is for phones only? and living in Portugal can I get it?

  17. redkipper says:

Herita Llunga deal has not yet been finalised, Zola hopes the club can sign him up, so still not certain. Llunga has been the real surprise package this season so lets hope it is formalized ASAP.

  18. johnnyhaynesregular says:

You’ve no chance Iain… did you notice the 3 magical initials F followed by F followed by C on the link? COYW’s!!

That said, I do enjoy dipping in and out of your blog from time to time. It’s quite funny how football fans (*)are all the same underneath- up as high as Mt Everest one moment, down in the mid-Atlantic trench the next!

(*) “football fans” = those who follow proper teams not gloryhunters (MUFC, CFC, LFC, AFC, THFC – I think that about covers it!) who squeal like baby rabbits faced with Glenn Close and the carving knife on those rare occasions when some other lesser team dares to beat/draw against their own “beloved” team.

  19. Tony Titan says:

    Oi ! Winslett —— No !

  20. Goatygav says:

So which of our lads will get the call up for England on Saturday? My money’s on Parker, Upson, Green and Cole to make the squad with the first two making the starting line up.

  21. james says:

so much for the whole Ilunga seeing us as a second rate club and a stepping stone up stories.

  22. Graybo says:

Barry and Parker would work very well together in an England line-up, I reckon. As long as our boys stay clear of injury it would be great to see them step into the England line-up.

For Moore, Peters and Hurst, read Upson, Parker and Cole for the World Cup… oi! stop laughing… stranger things have happened šŸ˜‰

  23. E1 says:

Upson and parker and with a bit of luck green and cole, If current form is what capello goes by then green should be in and with gerarad and rooney not that fit parker and cole could get the nod upson will be in without a doubt.

  24. Goatygav says:

Who’d have thunk it? Either Terry or Ferdinand would be replaced but Matty Upson’s really staked his claim.

  25. the headmaster says:

Green won’t be selected whilst Clemence is in the setup so I heard…..
As for cole, he is much improved but we really are in bovver if he gets an England call up!!

  26. Goody says:

Does anyone agree Zola is possible on course for manager of the month? Undefeated and looking good?
